PlayToday ("we," "our," or "us") operates the PlayToday.ai platform, a club management service for padel and pickleball facilities. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our platform.

- Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile details you provide when creating an account or when a club staff member adds you.
- Booking and activity data: Court bookings, game participation, match feedback, and play history.
- Preferences: Preferred play times, days, court types, skill level, and notification settings.
- Payment information: Payment details are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
- Device information: Push notification tokens when you opt in to mobile notifications.
- Usage data: How you interact with the platform to improve our services.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate the PlayToday platform for your club.
- Send transactional SMS and notifications including booking confirmations, reminders, cancellation notices, and welcome messages when you are added to a club.
- Match you with compatible players based on skill level and preferences.
- Process payments through Stripe Connect on behalf of your club.
- Improve our matchmaking algorithms and platform features.
SMS and Messaging
When you are added to a club or create an account with a phone number, you may receive transactional SMS messages including:
- Welcome messages with a link to join your club on PlayToday.
- Booking confirmations, reminders (24 hours before), and cancellation notices.
- Player activity updates (e.g., someone joining your game).
Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can manage your notification preferences in your profile settings or reply STOP to any SMS to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance.
We do not send marketing or promotional SMS. All messages are transactional and related to your club activity.
We collect phone numbers solely to send transactional service messages. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- With your club: Club staff can see member profiles, bookings, and activity within their club.
- With other players: Your name and skill level may be visible to other club members for matchmaking and game organization.
- Service providers: We use Twilio for SMS/WhatsApp messaging, Stripe for payment processing, and Supabase for data storage. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure authentication, and row-level security policies on our database. All data is scoped to your club — members of one club cannot access another club's data.
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you are removed from a club, your profile remains in the system but is no longer associated with that club. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information in your profile.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP or adjusting your notification preferences.
